No centro da cidade há o acesso ao Cruzeiro, mirante de onde se pode observar a cidade. No local há uma praça e uma cruz que mede 11,20m de altura por 5m de largura. Foi inaugurado em 1953, em comemoração aos 150 anos da primeira missa celebrada em Valença.
