This cottage is located on the edge of Monschau Kalterherberg, about 30 km from Aachen. The house (200m2) is a typical Eifel house and accommodate 10 persons in 6 bedrooms. Because the house is build a little bit further from the street, it lays very quiet. Beside the kitchen is a cozy living-dining room, with above a small gallery with comfortable chairs to sit and read a book. Also located on the upper floor is a large living room with modern facilities such as a flat screen TV. The cottage has a fireplace which will spread a nice warmth on the arrival.
Because the house is located at the edge of Kalterherberg, it is an excellent starting point for hikes. Immediately from the house there’s a choice of diverse walkingtracks on paved paths, these are also ideal for cyclists. You can also explore the long but beautiful route through the Perlbachtal on the Belgian border. The town has Kalterherberg has a few shops for the daily needs. In a few minutes you are in the unique medieval town of Monschau.
