The Larraín elevator is shown daily to the porteños and, of course, also to visitors, through its route and its upper station that is seen far away at the top of Cerro Larraín. Inaugurated in 1909, its access is through Coronel Reina street, from Avenida Argentina at the height of Av. Pedro Montt.
It is important to note that its access does not participate in the immediate events of the city plan, since the lower station is located on a street uphill towards the hill (Coronel Reina), and faces it from one side, through an access ladder.
The upper arrival of this elevator is at Hermanos Clark Street and it is reached through a high walkway on its sides. From the street of the hill the access is framed in a large gate open to a walkway, as if it were the entrance to a house nestled on the hill itself.

There are several alternatives to get to Valparaíso:
By bus
The trip takes 1 hour 45 minutes from Santiago. Existing departures with a frequency of 15 minutes, the bus companies offer a good level of service and comfort.
By car
For those who wish to arrive by car from Santiago, they should take Route 68, the estimated travel time being 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Once at the top, the view of Valparaíso is done in a different way from the classic postcards, since from the northern part of the city, apart from the sea, you can see the entire series of hills up to Playa Ancha.
