Located on Yakushima Island, Minshuku Shiratani offers simple accommodation with Western beds. Guests can soothe in the open-air stone bath and wear the provided Japanese Yukata robes. A free shuttle is available from Miyanoura Port and Yakushima Airport.

The rooms feature both air conditioning and heating facilities. A flat-screen TV and a private toilet are included in each, while bathrooms are shared.

A coin-operated washing machine and drink vending machines are on-site. A free-use kitchen with a fridge and a microwave is available for guests to cook light meals. Luggage storage and free parking is available as well.

A simple homemade Japanese breakfast is served.

Shiratani Minshuku is a 5-minute drive from Miyanoura Port and a 15-minute drive from Yakushima Airport. Shiratani Cloud Water Valley is a 30-minute drive and the Yakushima Enviromental Culture Village Centre is a 15-minute drive away.
