This is the first space of the Museum of Monchique, and follows a partnership between the Installing Commission of the Museum, the Factory of the Parish Church and the Parish Council of Monchique.
Installed in the basement of the Mother Church of Monchique.
The exhibits from different places of worship are owned by the Parish, and the Parish Council, with the support of the Leader II SW Program, carried out a careful conservation and restoration intervention, due to the advanced state of degradation in which they were . In this space we can find an entire estate related to the Christian liturgy.
