The village of Cuada is located on the west coast of the island of Flores, between Fajã Grande and Fajâzinha.
The village has its origin around the seventeenth century,
On the west coast of the island of Flores, between Fajã Grande and Fajãzinha, there is a village whose origins date back to the 17th century, the village built in stone, since the beginning the inhabitants have always had a hard life, having been abandoned in the years 60s of the last century. However, the village was reborn again thanks to the will of a couple who rebuilt the houses, maintaining their architecture but offering comfort to tourists from all over the world who are looking for a holiday that is more in contact with nature.
Today the village of Cuada is a tourist accommodation space but where it continues to be far from modern technologies, in the village of Cuada for example there is only internet at the reception.
