Die Eremitage von Santa Margarida ist eine der einfachsten und zugleich kuriosesten Bauten dieser Art in der Gemeinde Estremoz. Es liegt nicht weit vom Sonnentor des Schlosses von Evoramonte entfernt und zeichnet sich durch eine sehr einfache Architektur aus, die auf geometrischen Formen basiert. Der Körper ist ein Würfel, die Kuppel eine Halbkugel, die von einem Quader und einer Pyramide gekrönt wird.
