The Gentile Guest House is in a medieval hamlet in Piedmont. It is next to a beautiful castle. The castle was built over different periods. The oldest part is more than 1000 years old. The castle was completely restored in the 19th century. It has been lived in by the same family for centuries. The castle and hamlet look out over a splendid hilly area with vineyards. There are two churches and four guest houses in the hamlet. There is a private garden in front of the guest houses with breathtaking views. The family of the Marques has produced wines here since the 14th century which are stored in the castle. It is highly recommended to join the wine tasting sessions and enjoy a tour of the castle. You can also enjoy cookery courses for small groups. Learning how to cook Italian food and enjoying it in the castle dining room with a glass of wine is a wonderful experience.
