Die Sakristei ist die älteste Dependance der Kirche, ein Platz mit geripptem Gewölbe und zylindrischem Schlüssel, der laut Túlio Espanca an die Kunst des frühen 17. Jahrhunderts erinnert.

Für die architektonische und künstlerische Analyse des Gebäudes scheint die Kirche von Nossa Senhora dos Remédios im frühen 17. Jahrhundert erbaut worden zu sein. Dies ist die erste bekannte Referenz aus dem Jahr 1700, als die Bruderschaft von Nossa Senhora do Carmo in dieser Kirche residierte Tempel.
