The Lyness Guest House has a great location, on the valley road of Columbus Ravine, with convenient on-street parking on both sides of the road. Parking permits and parking-scheme discs are available for guests, free of charge. All of Scarborough’s shops, pubs, bars and restaurants are within easy reach.

Family-run, the Lyness Guest House has been under new ownership since January 2007 and prides itself on offering a high standard of cleanliness and a friendly atmosphere. The owners have young children themselves, and welcome and encourage families to stay with them.
The family rooms are equipped with DVD players. Guests are invited to bring their own DVDs to watch. Alternatively, DVDs can be rented from the local Blockbuster or Movieland Library.
