Ein beeindruckendes Museum für moderne Kunst auf einer Halbinsel an der Donau, nahe der österreichischen und ungarischen Grenze. Die Halbinsel ist Teil des Staudamms Cunovo.
Danubiana bietet Ausstellungen moderner Kunst von slowakischen und internationalen Künstlern.
Das Museum ist schon wegen der atemberaubenden natürlichen Umgebung einen Besuch wert. Es ist etwa zwanzig Autominuten flussabwärts entlang der Donau von Bratislava entfernt.
Der Bratislavaer Stadtbus 91 fährt alle 20 Minuten unter der Neuen Brücke (Novy Most) ab und hält etwa 4 km von Danubiana entfernt. Dreimal täglich verlässt ein Regionalbus den Hauptbusbahnhof und lässt die Fahrgäste neben Danubiana ab. Mit dem Auto oder Taxi ist das Museum etwa 30 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum von Bratislava entfernt.
